A Golfer's Paradise

 

Florida has more full size golf courses than any other state in the US, with current figures showing in excess of 1200. In Orlando alone there are upwards of 125 courses within an hour drive of the theme parks. 

The ideal year round weather brings Golfers flocking from both around the US and further a field, including some of the biggest names in the pro game. 

Many of the courses have been designed by the biggest names in golf architecture and regularly feature in the top positions of national surveys.

Champions Gate Golf Resort

Headquarters of the David Leadbetter Golf Academy, features two distinctive 18-hole championship layouts by Greg Norman with driving range and practice green.

Celebration Golf Club

Opened in 1996, Celebration Golf Club is the final collaboration between Robert Trent Jones Senior and Junior.   Eighteen distinctive holes with Champion Dwarf Bermuda greens, presenting a great deal of variety and wildlife throughout make this truly a must-play for every Central Florida golfer.

Cypress Creek County Club

This club offers 18 holes designed by Lloyd Clifton and a driving range.  It's appeal is perfect for the casual player, yet is still very challenging to the low handicap golfer. It has five par 5's and five par 3's with water coming into play on eight of its 18 holes.

Deer Island Club

Deer Island Golf Club, a privately owned golf course, now open to the public is a World-Class facility. The club features 18 holes designed by Joe Lee and a driving range.

Eastwood Golf Club

Situated on 190 acres of Central Florida land, Eastwood Golf Club features lush rolling fairways that are bordered by strategic mounding and numerous lakes. Water comes into play on just about every hole and the gentle winds are an ever present Florida feature.

Falcon's Fire Golf Club

This championship golf course designed by Rees Jones features classic architecture, an exquisitely maintained course and year round playing conditions. Stretching over 7,000 yards from the back tees and providing golfers four sets of tees to choose from, Falcon’s Fire offers a challenging yet playable course for a relaxing round with friends or a competitive tournament.

Forest Lakes Golf Club

Forest Lake Golf Club encompasses over 218 Acres of Central Florida’s Ridge area which provides superb sandy loam soils for drainage, wide varieties of trees, and pristine natural ponds. With 18 holes designed by Clifton, Ezell, & Clifton and a driving range

Grand Cypress Golf Resort

Highlands Reserve Golf Club

This championship Mike Dasher design gives you pine tree-lined fairways reminiscent of the Carolinas, open spacious fairways likened to the great Scottish courses, and a bit of old Florida with citrus trees along the countryside.

Hawks Landing at Orlando World Center Marriott

This 18-Hole Championship Golf Course was designed by noted golf architect Robert Cupp Jr., to create the perfect setting for challenging golf and a scenic blend of native Florida wildlife and tropical vegetation.

Hunter's Creek Golf Club

Kissimmee Bay Country Club

This 6,830 yard, par 71 championship course is graced by the presence of century-old oaks, lofty cypress trees, a dozen intriguing and challenging water hazards and the presence of Sandhill Cranes. Kissimmee Golf Club

These championship tees span 6,442 yards of play, while the front tees log in at a manageable 4,492. There is certainly something for all visitors at one of Central Florida’s most unique golfing experiences.

Kissimmee Oaks Golf Club

MetroWest Golf Club
